Shayla Zimmerman
Founder, Host, & Producer
Shay is a Detroit-based community organizer, storyteller, and activist whose work centers collective liberation, community care, and everyday acts of resistance. She currently leads for good co., a consulting firm for values-aligned organizations. She started community organizing at 15 years old, since then she’s led local and national climate resilience and water justice initiatives and built grassroots emergency response efforts on Detroit’s East Side. Previously, she was producer and co-host of Michigan-focused conversations on United Way’s Virtual Town Halls.

Indy St. Louis
Producer
Indy is a California-raised, Detroit-based artist, musician, film director, and actor whose work centers on building community power and solidarity economy for creatives. He’s been playing piano since he was 4-years-old and is most well known for his techno music as Indy Nyles. He leads projects like Weed Money TV, a show about two communist baristas trying to save the world, and Moondays at Moondog Cafe on Detroit’s west side.

Alexander Michael Norris
Producer
Alex is a boycott-centric radical, he believes the only way to topple the oligarchy is to starve them from your currency and attention. His passion for visual voodoo was ignited during his time at Oakland University, where he pursued creative writing with a concentration in screenwriting. Fast forward, and he’s produced a respectable repertoire of visual tales with Detroit Entertainment Television coming soon! Building spaces for Detroit creatives since 2020. Currently curating Mondays at Moondog Cafe with Indy.

Daniel Sharp
Co-founder, Music Producer
Daniel is an artist, musician, and cultural organizer whose work centers on community, storytelling, and immersive experiences. He leads projects like Imbolc, a festival that celebrates the start of spring, and Moods , an archive of dancefloor origin stories, while also releasing music as Endash with Acid Camp and holds a residency with Blue Moon Radio. Daniel supports emerging creators, contributing to a vibrant and collaborative cultural ecosystem.
